HealthBIO Partnering Day gathered life science experts in Turku in September

HealthBIO Partnering Day was organized in Turku on 6 September, as part of the yearly HealthBIO conference. At the matchmaking event organized by Enterprise Europe Network team at Turku Science Park, there were 35 participants from 6 countries with 60 pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings.

Etvi Juntunen from Inme Ltd wanted to meet in particular with investors and financiers at the matchmaking event. He considered the day to be successful, filled with networking and good synergies with other participants.

Inme is a startup company developing solutions for rapid diagnostics of salivary analytes to achieve user-friendly home-monitoring of health and well-being.

Niccolò Bacchi from Novo Holdings registered to the matchmaking event, with an idea to network and find investment targets in Finland. He was also interested in knowing more of the Finnish life science sector and business accelerators. At the HealthBIO he got familiar with many potential investment targets, the Finnish business environment and how the development activities in Finland are organized. He has found useful the contacts to the life science actors in Finland, including Business Finland.

Novo Holdings invest in early-stage biotech, device and industrial biotech companies.
