Still, adaptation and optimization of transformation processes and technologies is a real challenge in order to valorize all biomass fraction in a circular approach. Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) provide the basis for innovation in a range of products across all industrial sectors. They underpin the shift to a greener economy, are instrumental in modernizing industrial base, and drive the development of entirely new industries. BIOKET, the BIOeconomy’s Key Enabling Technologies conference aims to contribute to the rise of KETs by promotion emerging KETs applied in the Bioeconomy’s sector.
