EnergyWeek attracted a record number of participants to Vaasa this year. The annual EnergyWeek brings together industry experts and provides them with new contacts, networks and potential partners. This year again, the Enterprise Europe Network organised a matchmaking event during the week, where participants met each other in pre-arranged one-to-one 20-minute meetings. 263 participants from 23 different countries registered for the matchmaking, over 500 meetings were scheduled.
Henri Taskinen from the Finnish company Capalo AI also participated in the Matchmaking event. Capalo AI offers AI-based multi-market optimization for renewable energy and battery systems. The company forecasts the imbalance prices and ancillary markets and combines these with their optimization engine for optimized short-term trading.
