ViennaUP’26 is a decentralised startup festival for international startups, founders-to-be, entrepreneurs who want to connect with investors, corporated and liked-minded people. It offers multiple events in Vienna from May 18-22, 2026.
The Discover ViennaUP programme offers international startups travel support of up to €500 for travel and accommodation costs. (flights, hotel, train, apartments, etc.) Also, the Discover ViennaUP programme aims to introduce international startups to Vienna’s thriving business and innovation landscape and beyond. The programme supports startups to get to know Vienna’s startup ecosystem, discover new opportunities, and connect to local and international ecosystem players during ViennaUP.
Who should apply?
The programme is aimed at startups that:
- Are no more than 5 years old
- Offer an impactful and innovative solution
- Are beyond the prototype stage
- Have successfully launched in their domestic market.
Funding details
Selected startups can receive a reimbursement of up to €500 per startup, which may be used for:
- Travel and accommodation between May 17 and May 23, 2026, and/or
- Event tickets
The grant applies to one person per startup and will be reimbursed after successful participation. Local transportation within Vienna and other on-site expenses are not covered.
