The event brings together business and research organizations active in the field of electrochemical engineering with a key focus on innovation developments and implementation of technologies related to the energy transition. There is no registration fee for this event.
The event is organized as a side event of the 12th European Symposium on Electrochemical Engineering.
Plenary session
Pitch presentations will be given by VoltaChem and Covestro on their approach of scale-up of electrochemical technologies and their implementations. Roman Latsuzbaia, Scientist Sustainable Process and Energy Systems Department, will discuss their approach to electrochemical reactor and process development, bringing research to a first pilot. Alexander Lüken, Laboratory manager and Global process expert at Covestro, will share his experience and advice on the scale-up of gas diffusion electrodes, bringing a pilot towards industrial practice.
The pitch presentations will be followed by an interactive panel discussion on innovation developments within the Power-2-Chemicals domain: scaling up relevant electrochemical technologies and how to accelerate their implementation in industry. Martijn de Graaff, program director at VoltaChem, will moderate the session.

Matchmaking
A key part of the program are the 1:1 matchmaking sessions which will take place online with participants from all over the world. The sessions will be pre-arranged one-on-one meetings lasting 20 minutes each with potential collaboration partners. The matchmaking offers you:
