First Ukrainian-Scandinavian Economic Online Forum 25 April 2023
With the aim of establishing bilateral trade and intensifying Ukraine’s cooperation with the Nordic countries, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as part of the EEN-Ukraine Consortium, in close cooperation with the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, diplomatic missions of the Scandinavian countries in Kyiv, and the largest Ukrainian retail chains, is organizing the First Ukrainian-Scandinavian Economic Forum to be held online in Kyiv on April 25.
The event is aimed at informing business circles of Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Ukraine about the economic situation and business environment in the countries, issues of Ukraine’s reconstruction and support during the war, establishing direct business contacts between potential partners, highlighting promising areas of cooperation between Ukraine and the Scandinavian countries, in particular in the context of easier access of Ukrainian goods to EU markets.
The program of the business forum includes participation of business circles from the above countries, high-ranking officials, diplomats, and experts.
The event will be of interest primarily to representatives of the following areas of activity:
- the energy sector,
- agricultural industry,
- food industry,
- infrastructure,
- logistics and transportation,
- scientific and technical cooperation,
- industrial complex and machine building, etc..
The forum will provide an opportunity to discuss interesting issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for further cooperation.
The Forum will be attended by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the largest national retail chain EpicenterK, and the diplomatic missions of Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden.
